Vinay Kumar Karkala is an Alumni of XLRI – Jamshedpur and Christ University – Bangalore. He is the Founder and CEO of Skill Transit. He was associated with Matrimony.com, ABL and Indusind Bank as their Head HR in the recent past and was also associated with Fullerton India, ICICI Prudential, Birla Sun life ABL in Learning and Human Resources department in Leadership and Middle Management roles. Vinay has worked closely with Chairman, MD and CEOs of ABL and Matrimony.com in all aspects of HR processes and has been instrumental in building and strengthening the leadership pool in the organizations and has chaired their Internal Committee in the past.

Vinay has hired and managed a very large HR team in the last two organizations spanning close to 70 HR professionals managing the entire gamut of HR serving 5000 plus employee base headquartered in Mumbai and Chennai.

He was awarded “Star HR Practitioner Award” for Best HR Practices from Banking Frontiers in the year 2015, “Best in Talent Assessment Methodologies” in 2014 by People Matters and “Valuable Contribution In the field of HR” by HR Katha in 2018.

Vinay is an alumnus from XLRI, Jamshedpur and Christ University, Bangalore. He is a Certified Thomas International professional and Certified NLP Practitioner from NFNLP, USA. He has a fellowship in LUTCF (Life Underwriting Training Council) from American College, Pennsylvania. He is a certified Coach and he is passionate about Coaching and mentoring Leaders and Senior Management professionals. Many of his HR related articles are published in the Leading Human Capital magazines. Vinay was recently awarded “Valuable Contribution In the field of HR” by HR Katha and KellyOCG in 2019.
